Eat out for less, using the crypto you already hold
Food Token turns cryptocurrency into discounted gift cards at the restaurants you already go to. Load your account once, then redeem Food Tokens for gift cards from hundreds of brands — often for less than the card is worth.
Why people use Food Token
Many brands carry a discount, so a $25 card can cost fewer than 25 tokens. It is a real saving on food you were going to buy anyway.
No exchange account, no bank transfer, no waiting to cash out. Send from the wallet you already use and spend it on dinner.
Bitcoin and Lightning, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Dogecoin, Tron, and USDC or USDT across several networks — nine ways to load in total.
From national chains to local favourites. Do not see yours? Request it and we go looking on your behalf.
Your card shows up on your dashboard with a barcode and QR code, ready to scan at the register or paste into an online order.
A first deposit of roughly $1 comes with 4 bonus tokens, so you can see the whole thing work before committing anything real.
How it works
Pick a coin and network, send to the address shown, and your balance updates on its own once the payment lands. One dollar of value is one Food Token.
Browse what is in stock, sorted however you like — by brand, by biggest discount, by nearest location, or by category.
The code lands on your dashboard right away. Scan it at the counter or use it online, and track what is left on the card as you spend it.
Run by a real person you can reach
Food Token is run by Bryan Barton, who lives in Sacramento, California and runs the Sacramento Bitcoin meetup. He is not a support queue or a chatbot — you can call him, and if you are local you can turn up at the meetup and meet him. Handing money to a website you have never heard of deserves more than a logo, so here is how to check us out before you spend anything.
What Food Token is not
Food Tokens are closed-loop prepaid access, redeemable only for gift cards from the brands we carry. They are not an investment, they do not earn interest, and they cannot be cashed out, transferred between accounts, or spent anywhere else. We would rather say so on the front page than in the small print.
